Welcome to my site! It lists every song that has ever entered the Top 100 Singles Chart in Australia since 1958. Over 57% of those songs have streaming audio which can be played as individual tracks or through one of the site's many jukeboxes or playlists. Being able to hear the songs can be helpful for people who don't always know the name of songs that they have heard or like. I created this site to help people reconnect with the songs that they've liked from the past and to discover many more!

Hopefully these lists can help people increase their music collections now that many songs are easily downloadable from iTunes, Amazon, etc. All of the lists have accurate AMR/ARIA chart information. Also featured on the site are my personal top singles lists plus the top selling singles in Australia for each year and decade from 1950 onwards. There's also top singles of all time lists and plenty more!!

AMR Top Singles of the 1970s

  1. Since you have like all the songs that charted in Australia throughout history, what are the names of these three songs and the artist for each one?

First song is a rock song released either sometime in the 80s or early 90s. During the bridge, there is a lyric that is said three times. It rhymes with stranded or something similar. The singer is male and the song is generally fast but slow and soft during the intro and bridge. It is not (I'm) Stranded by The Saints.

Second song sounds similar to I Don't Like Mondays by The Boomtown Rats and Lawyers in Love by Jackson Browne. The singer sounds like Elvis Costello but I don't think it's by him. It plays somewhat fast and changes pitch at the end. I think it's released in the 70s, before the 70s or the 80s.

Third song that I've heard as a sample of it on the radio during a promotion. It opens with an electric guitar followed by a saxophone and drums played simultaneously. It's possibly from the 70s or 80s. Most likely the former decade.
